Our goal is to collect 1000 nomination signatures for Jim. We need your help! As many of you probably know, a Republican has pulled signature papers to run against Jim in the fall. Reminder that Andy Myers is having his Kickoff on Wednesday.  There are Democratic Party meetups on Wednesday and John Kerry Meetups on Thursday this week.  Millis has their DTC cleanup on Saturday.  The Alliance has a meeting is 4/27.  Don’t forger the Kerry Canvass on Saturday. The MDF has a greatlineup for their convention on Saturday!

According to Meagan Holman, the Director of Volunteer Programs for Boston 2004, Inc., Boston 2004, Inc. will be recruiting, training, and deploying over 10,000 volunteers to assist with the convention and be a resource to our guests coming in from all over the country. Meagan is especially seeking people who are able to commit to take most of convention-week off or be released from work through corporate volunteer programs. In addition, Boston 2004, Inc. is looking for individuals who have prior experience in recruiting and managing volunteers to be Team Captains. Boston 2004, Inc. the not-for-profit, nonpartisan host committee for the 2004 Democratic National Convention does not control credentials or access to the Fleet Center. Their work is related to their role as the Host Committee, providing hospitality to the Convention delegates, press and others who will be visiting Boston.
